A Kind, Holistic and Restorative Approach
At the heart of my approach is an appreciation for us as unique human beings with a wholeness emerging from our many parts and capacities. These include our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, sensations, purpose and our sense of connection with others and our greater environment (which some may call soul or spirituality).
In my understanding, through our life experiences, in order to cope and survive we may come to disconnect or perhaps not develop in some aspects of our selves often without knowing it has happened. This helps us cope in the short term but can create discomfort in the long run.
In working together we may take time to listen and respond in a way which can bring understanding, clarity, restore connection and transform your experience so you can live with a greater sense of wholeness and fulfilment.
I draw on a range of theories and research to guide me in our work together. This allows me to tailor my approach to suit you and what you may want and/or need which may include dialogue, creative work, body awareness and visualisation. We will usually begin with dialogue and talk about how we might work together with a view to what you are hoping for.
You will never need to share, say or do anything you don’t want to. You can expect transparancy from me and to be met with care and understanding rather than judgement.
