Supervision
I offer both individual and group supervision to professionals working therapeutically with adults. I welcome individual enquiries and enquires from those interested in joining or forming a post qualification supervision group.
I see supervision as a joint undertaking where we reflect on your work including your personal process and self awareness. This may involve theoretical thinking, ethical considerations and restoring/developing your professional capacity.
I believe the supervisory relationship to be fundamental to our work together and my intention is that we create a container within which you can bring all of yourself and your work. Many of us have experienced shame in other learning settings and my aim is to be sensitive to this and to work with how you learn and receive feedback the best.
I use and share with you the 7 eyed process model as a frame through which we may consider what is happening in the room with your clients. You may find supervision to be encouraging, challenging, insightful, educational, developmental and transformative. As part of my ethical commitment to you and your clients I will also voice concerns with you if they arise.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision for Individuals and Groups which means I studied part time over a period of one year to offer supervision to individuals and groups across a range of modalities and stages of professional development.
I also supervise those working with groups such as training groups, supervision groups, support groups, or organisations.
